Can I directly apply for NET exam without SET exam? hi friend, Yes , You can directly apply in NET exam here below is eligibility: NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This examination is conducted By University Grant Commission twice in a Year .The NET examination is held in the month of June And December Every year. You must have completed your master's degree course because master's degree with 55%aggregate is the Minimum eligibility to apply for NET Examination. your age limit should not crossed 28 years for general and for sc/st it should not cross 31 year. june date is left so, you can try for next december date which publish soon in newspapers. all the best |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.This examination is conducted By University Grant Commission twice in a Year .The NET examination is held in the month of June And December Every year. You must have completed your master's degree course because master's degree with 55%aggregate is the Minimum eligibility to apply for NET Examination . Final year candidates are also eligible for NET Examination. No minimum age eligibility criteria to apply for Lectureship and for JRF, Your age Should not be more than 28 Years. June session exam date already over so if you want go for NET exam then you should wait few months because the notification for NET exam will be relished very soon in ugc website. From this year NET exam paper is totally MCQ type. For online application you can visit to http://www.ugc.ac.in/ |

Re: Date of availability of next exam application form? Can I directly apply for NET exam without SET exam? Hi, NET stands for National Eligibility test. This exam conducted by the UGC. The exam will be conducted for the award of Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and also for eligibility into Lecture ship. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The candidate should be completed the post graduation from any recognized university. The candidate should have to score a min of 55% of marks in their post graduation course in order to be eligible for this exam. Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for tech candidates of sc/st categories. Age limit: There is no upper age limit for the candidate lecture ship. But the JRF candidate should be in the age group of between the 19 to 28 years. NOTIFICATION: National Eligibility Test (NET) on 24th JUNE 2012 for more updated information visit the website http://www.ugcnetonline.in all the best. |
