HELLO,

AIEEE Eligibility Criteria 2013:

All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is an all-India level entrance test for admission to Engineering and Architecture or Planning programmes at the undergraduate level. AIEEE entrance exam is conducted every year by the Central board.

To get admission in these prestigious IIITs and NITs of the country students must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria of the AIEEE 2013. Candidates who qualify AIEEE 2013 entrance exam will be eligible to get admission into universities and institution all over the country for B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch. or B. Planning courses.

AIEEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria:

> > Aspiring candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Class XII) or on equivalent exam from a recognized board in India with 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH category students.

> > All the candidates who are appearing in the final year examination in the same year are also eligible to apply for the AIEEE 2013 entrance exam.

> > The upper age limit for the candidates to be eligible for the exam is 25 years. However, there is relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidates.

> > A student can attempt the entrance examination consecutively for a maximum of three years.

ONE THING I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ADD HERE THAT IS
:

GOOD LUCK !

Apparently you have not heard that AIEEE entrance exam would be scrapped from 2013. Similar is the fate for IIT-JEE entrance exam. Therefore forget about appearing for AIEEE. Instead you can appear for a new entrance exam which will replace both these exams.

Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET) is all set to replace two of the most popular entrance exams for Engineering in India. The decision has been taken by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development. Already IITs and NITs have announced their support for the new entrance exam. Both NITs and IITs will accept candidates on the basis of ISEET entrance exam.

You will be able to apply for this entrance exam. It is expected that in the coming years ISEET will also replace state level Engineering exams and therefore would become the only entrance exam for B.Tech. However it would take a lot of effort to convince some of the states to accept the new format.

Eligibility

1. You must have passed 12th with PCM.

2. A minimum of 40 percent marks in 12th board.

Exam Pattern

There are going to be two exams in the ISEET.

ISEET Main:

Reading Comprehension & Critical Thinking

Logical Reasoning

The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and it will carry 30 percent weightage

ISEET Advance:

Problem Solving Ability in Basic Science Subjects

The duration of ISEET advance would also be 3 hours and it will also carry 30 percent weightage.

Selection Process

You must be wondering what this weightage is all about. Unlike AIEEE and IIT-JEE exams, the selection process would also factor your performance in 12th board. While the ISEET exam would carry 60 percent weightage, the remaining 40 percent would be carried by 12th board performance of the candidate.

hi,
AIEEE exam stands for all india engineering entrance examination which is conducted by cbse.
Eligibility Criteria: Aspiring candidates who have passed the 10+2 (Class XII) or on equivalent exam from a recognized board in India with 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH category students.

All the candidates who are appearing in the final year examination in the same year are also eligible to apply for the AIEEE 2012 entrance exam.

The upper age limit for the candidates to be eligible for the exam is 25 years. However, there is relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidates.
