CMJ University is a Self financed University located at Shillong and Established by the Government of Meghalaya. C M J University is not recognized by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). Re: Is CMJ University NCTE recognized? Hi dear, Institutes of Teachers Education-C M J University is not recognized by National Council for Teacher Education. The University offers the following programs in Education and are only approved by University Grant Commission and not by National Council for Teacher Education: Diploma in Education Bachelor of Education Master of Education Bachelor of Physical Education Master of Physical Education Since there is no official confirmation, it is not possible to say whether Institutes of Teachers Education-C M J University will get the approval from National Council for Teacher Education or not. However, if it does, it will be announced by the University but as far as as the question "when will it be recognized?" is concerned, we are unable to make any comments on that.Thanks |

Re: Is CMJ University NCTE recognized? Hii It is not recognized by NCTE recognised But All courses are run by cmj university in its campus only. As per supremecourt ruling, there is no need for any university to take approval from any council if she runs courses in its campus. Thanks.. |

Re: Is CMJ University NCTE recognized? hi,  CMJ University is a Self financed University located at Shillong and Established by the Government of Meghalaya.This University is recognized by the UGC(University Grants commission).If you still have any doubts regarding the University then please visit the official website of UGC www.ugc.ac.in So the B.Tech degree from CMJ university is a valid one and happily you can apply for all the Government posts without any details.But it is not recognized by the AICTE but that is not a big problem.
