KVS Junior Mathematics Olympiad (JMO) Exam – Download Previous Year’s Question Papers There are ten questions and the full marks of the paper are 100. All questions are compulsory. No calculators or mobile phones are allowed in the examination hall. The question paper contains questions from algebra, arithmetic, mensuration and geometry. There are problems on algebraic simplifications, factorizations, logarithms, law of indices and application and logic based mathematical problems having diagrams. Some of the questions are: find the smallest multiple of 15 such that each digit of the multiple if either 0 or 8, find the area of the largest square in which a right angled triangle of sides 4 and 8 units can be inscribed, a printer numbers the pages of a book starting from 1 and he uses 3189 digits in total so how many pages will the book have, find the lengths of the sides of a triangle having 20, 28 and 35 as the lengths of it altitudes. |
