 VAO Exam Details:- ~To sit for the VAO Exam you need to have the secondary school leaving certificate. This is the minimum qualification required. Even if you have higher qualifications it will be considered only when you have this certificate to show. ~You have to attain the minimum age of 21 years while applying for this exam. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 30 years. ~There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST and other such candidates the upper age limit is 40 years. ~You will be posted in the villages of Tamilnadu so it is very important for you to know the language properly. You have to give Tamil language exam if you do not know the language properly. ~Only physically fit candidates can give this exam. So you have to produce medical certificates before the authorities concerned at the time of exam. ~The selection procedure is primarily based on the written exam. So your main aim should be score big in the written exam to get selected. Higher the marks, more will be your chances of making it to the next stage of selection. ~For the exam you will get questions from the following sections: General Knowledge and General Tamil/General English. You will get only three hours to complete the whole paper. There will be 200 questions in all to solve. Minimum 90 out of 300 marks needs to be achieved to qualify. ~This year the notification for the exam was published in June. The exam is due in September. By November the results will come out and by December the interview session will start. Villager Administrative officer Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts the Examination for the Recruitment of Village Administrative Officer. Educational Qualification - And To apply for this examination You must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification. That You must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies OR to College Courses of studies. So, You must have passed the S.S.L.C Public Examination with Tamil as one of the languages And If you have not passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent are not eligible even if they posses a higher qualification. Age Eligiblity - For General candidates age should between 21 to 30 years. And for SC, ST candidates age should between 21 to 40 Year. kindly find attachment for model paper set........... |

Re: Previous 5 year solved Question Papers for VAO Exam?  Village Administrative Officer or VAO is the exam which is conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. This exam will soon take place on September 30, 2012. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has stopped accepting application forms for this year's VAO Exam. Candidates who have not applied so far would have to wait till next year to apply for the VAO Exam. Eligibility Candidates who wish to appear for VAO must have passed 10th standard. It is also important that the candidate has command over the Tamil Language. However you can still apply for VAO without having any knowledge of Tamil language. But you will have to appear for a Tamil language exam within 2 years of being appointed. Age Limit The age limit for VAO is 21 to 30 years. However candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH are eligible for relaxation in upper age limit by 10 years. Exam Pattern The candidates have the option to select any of the two papers: 1) General Knowledge with General Tamil 2) General Knowledge with General English |
