Hello, Bar council of India decided the age limit for LLB(BACHELOR'S IN LAW) is between 30 years to 45 years after some criticism from supreme Court...

LL.B. - BACHELOR OF LAW can be studied in two ways depending upon one's educational qualification and age.

After 12th in any stream from a recognised Board one is eligible for Five years Integrated Law Degree within the age of 20 years for which you have to appear for entrance exam like CLAT(Common Law Admission Test).

So the upper age limit for Five year Integrated Law is 20 years.

After Graduation in any stream from a recognised University one is eligible for Three years LL.B. Degree. For this LL.B. Degree the admission can be made both through entrance exam like CLAT and on the basis of marks secured in Graduation level.

For Three years LL.B. degree the upper age limit is 30 years.

LLB Eligibility Criteria:-

>To give this entrance exam you should have minimum 50% in aggregate
>Your age should not be more than 20 years.

You can give the CLAT exam to study law.

LLB stands for Bachelor in Law and to get admission in this course you have to complete your Intermediate examination and apply for the Common Law Admission Test. After Intermediate examination you will get admission in 5 year LLB Course. Those who have completed his graduate degree course are eligible to take admission in 3 years LLB Course.

To get admission in top Law colleges, you have to cracked the CLAT Entrance examination and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Intermediate examination with minimum 50% marks, final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Your age should not be more than 20 years to apply for CLAT undergraduate courses.

To apply for 5 year LLB course, your age should not be more than 20 years.

But for 3 years LLB course your age should not be more than 30 years. Its depends on the college in which you want to take admission, generally for admission in government colleges your age should not be more than 20 years, for 5 year LLB course.
