Re: When will be the upcoming NET Exam?

The National Eligibility Test is conducted two times in a year by the University Grants Comission. The fist one is already concluded in June. However you are eligibile for the second NET exam which would take place on Sunday December 23, 2012. The last date of submitting form is getting near therefore you should immediately download the form as submit is as soon as possible.

You should alsos start preparing for the National Eligibility Test. Even though you can appear for exam as many times as you would like this does not take away the fact that NET is extremely difficult exam. Therefore download the previous years papers and prepare hard in order to clear the exam.

Eligibility

1. Only candidates with post graduation degree can apply for NET Exam.

2. You should complete post graduation from a UGC regonized university.

3. At least 55 percent marks in master course.

4. For SC/ST only 50 percent marks are required.

5. Students of final year are also eligible to apply.

6. But there is a risk of disqualification if you failed to submit degree within 2 years of passing NET or if you failed to meet the percentage requirement.

7. You need to choose NET subject according to the subject in which you completed post graduation.

8. The age limit for JRF is 28 years.
