Eligibility for the examination :: Engineer trainee You should have completed your 4 years engineering degree with 65% marks in any of the below streams : Mechanical Electrical Electronics All graduates students should be not more then 27 Years for the engineer trainees. But if you have done the post graduation in Engg. or Business Admn./ Management then the age limit is increased to 29 years . Supervisor trainee (Engineering): You must have done your engineering from a recognized Indian University in any of the following discipline MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL ELECTRONICS CIVIL With Minimum 65 % total aggregate for SC/ST its 60%. You should be not more then 70 years . Supervisor Trainee (Finance) You should have got Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from a recognized Indian University/ with minimum 70 % and for SC/ST its 60% You should be not more then 27 years The Bhel examination is done in two phases :: 1.Written exam 2.Interview . Only those students will get a call for the interview who have cleared the written exam. Written exam consists of two sections and total 240 questions will be asked. Section I: It consist of aptitude questions which are totally based on the : Quantitative aptitude Logical thinking Reasoning ability, English language General awareness. Section II:It is technical test which is divided into two parts . Part I :It consist of General Engineering questions Part II:Question asked will be related to particular streams which you have chosen . There will be negative marking of every wrong choice .
