If you have completed 12th std with 60% marks then you are eligible for it....

OBC Candidates: 55% of marks....

SC/ST Candidates: 45% of marks...

Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years old.....

Postal Assistant Exam Details:-

## Department of Postal Govt. of India conducts the Postal Assistant Exam whenever there is a vacancy for this post. To give this exam certain eligibility criteria needs to be satisfied. Some of them have been listed below:-

Firstly to give this exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out student or its equivalent from a recognized school or institution with not less than 60 percent of marks at 10+2 level.
For the reserved category candidates though there is percentage relaxation. For the OBC Candidates it is 50% in aggregate and for SC/ST Candidates it is 45% of marks in aggregate.
Your age should not be less than 18 years when applying for the exam as that is the minimum age criteria here. The upper age limit is for general category is 27 years.
To carry out your job smoothly you need to be well versed in the local language of the State of the concerned postal circle. This will help you to avoid any communication problem.
Even if you know hindi or have studied hindi at matriculation level or above then that will help too. That can be used as a common language to communicate freely. It is known to all as that is the official language of our country.
Questions are mostly objective type and conceptual so you need to give the answers very carefully. Be very alert when answering them. You need to answer 200 questions in all within a time limit of two and a half hours.

Examination Pattern:-

You will have to sit for a computer test or typing test as well in addition to the above mentioned written exam. The duration of the exam will be of 30 minutes maximum.
For general category candidates the cost of the application form is Rs. 200 and it will be available in the head post offices and other post offices in the circle.

Pattern of Written Test Test:

The aptitude test paper will comprise of 50 Objective Types Questions. Each of the questions will be of two marks each. Therefore, by simple mathematics, the total mark of the aptitude test is 100. The paper will consists of Mathematics, English, and Reasoning as well as Analytical ability along with a segment for General Knowledge. The total duration of the test will be two hours.

Postal Assistant exam is conducted by the deportment of postal govt of India .

You must completed the 10+2 with minimum 60 % of marks from recognized board , then you are applicable for Postal Assistant Exam.

If you are reserved category candidate then you can secured only 55 % of marks and required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 27 years and here age relaxation available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.
