Apart from teaching, the candidate can find career opportunities in risk analysis and quality analysis. They can find job positions in statistical programming as well as in financial organizations. Banks is another employment area for these candidates. Several firms operating in research and development are also in need these candidates. Central government organizations like Indian Statistical Institute often recruit these candidates. They can also find jobs in technical departments and manufacturing firms. Here is the list of universities offering distance course alongwith the status of their recognition as per DEC. Refer the list to check the status of recognition of your university.
