Re: How to become a Pilot after passing 10th?

Being a pilot is a very responsible job on this earth. As you have to make a perfect take-off and landing without even a very small mistake. So lets get started how to become a pilot in India :-

✔First of all make sure that in 12 grade you have got 55% or more than that in Science and Maths stream. If not, you can join the NIOS {National Institute Of Open School}. This will full fill you requirement ..

✔ After that join any of the flying school,of your choice. Their will be 3 test.

First is the Written Test.

Second is the Medical Test.

And Third is the Pilot Amplitude Test.

✔After you have passed all the levels.. Then you have to select your course which is the CPL{Commercial Pilot Licence} course to become a pilot..

✔Then for 16 - 18 months they will teach you how to fly and from 0 to perfect. And then you will get your CPL license after few exams.

✔After getting your CPL you have to do your Type Rating.. It's basically what kind of Aircraft {Airbus , Boeing etc} you want to Fly.

✔Your next step should be to join any of the Airline of your wish, and then after you are selected as a Co-Pilot after the interview. And then you can fly all around the world. Like a free bird.

Re: How to become a Pilot after passing 10th?

To become a Commercial Pilot, you need to possess a CPL (Commercial Pilot License). This License can only be obtained after undergoing Flight Training at a recognized Flying School. ... So, you may directly approach such schools after 10th and put forward your application to complete 12th through this mode of schooling.

*To become a pilot you have to pass 10+2 with physics ,chemistry and mathematics. The age must be 18 to 30 years if you want to apply for becoming a pilot. You have to clear an entrance test to get entry into flying training
*If you want to become a commercial pilot, enroll for the CPL training program. You must have passed 10+2 Science stream with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects (minimum 50% aggregate marks) to be considered eligible to join a flying school.

Bruh you dont need 50% in class 12th marksheet.. you need 50% in Physics & Maths(as per DGCA eligibility but schools may ask for higher percentages) in 10+2 level be it from school or NIOS... You just need to pass class 12 with 50%+ in P&M & also not necessarily pass in all subs(but some high-rated flying schools may ask for so). Also you never needed to be a graduate for CPL... Some airlines have set the criteria that they wont be recruiting non-graduates but that isnt the eligibility criteria for a CPL course.. many airlines(infact most) dont have such high demands or requirements for recruitments and you are free to go just after you have got 10+2 qualifications as mentioned above!!!

Re: How to become a Pilot after passing 10th?

To become a pilot you need to give the test of N.D.A or C.D.S. and clear the exam , and S.S.B medical and physical criteria.
For the N.D.A, the education qualification is minimum 10+2 pass candidate and age is must required 16.5 to 19 years.

So, It does not matter however your percentage in 10th standard. First of all you should have passed 10+2 th. and then apply for National Defense Academy (N.D.A).

Re: How to become a Pilot after passing 10th?

To become a pilot you have to pass 10+2 with physics ,chemistry and mathematics.

The age must be 18 to 30 years if you want to apply for becoming a pilot.

You have to clear an entrance test to get entry into flying training.

Your eyesight must be 6/6 and you should not have fear of heights if you want to become a pilot.

The fees is quite high if you want to become a commercial pilot but after you become a good pilot then you will earn a handsome salary.

If you want to become a fighter pilot then you have to give exams like NDA , CDS and AFCAT.

It is necessary to study physics and mathematics if you want to become any kind of pilot.

Re: How to become a Pilot after passing 10th?

hai,

The job of a Pilot/Co-Pilot is very challenging as well as rewarding. There are three licences, which you have to acquire to become a pilot
**Student’s Pilot Licence (SPL)
**Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or the Hobby Licence
**Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).
Eligibility To become a Pilot/ Co-Pilot - one should have the licence of SPL for which matriculation and 16 years of age is prescribed for appearing for the test.

To get a CPL, one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics and must be between the age of 18-30 years.

The minimum height should be 5 feet and eyesight 6/6. Remuneration Sky is the limit for hard working people in Aviation.

A trainee Pilot or Co-Pilot can get a starting salary of about Rs. 60,000 – 70,000. In about 2-3 years, after flying 2,000-3,000 hours, one can become a Flight Commander.

Salary:
A senior commander gets a salary of Rs. 4 lakh – Rs. 5 lakh per month. The training of a Pilot abroad can cost Rs. 15 – 20 lakh but this amount can be recovered in a few years as the salary is very high for Pilots.

A Pilot can earn more depending on the experience, company and the kind of planes they fly. The Expatriate Pilots can get a handsome amount between $9,500 to $ 11,000 (for new wide-bodied aircrafts).

Re: How to become a Pilot after passing 10th?

You can not become pilot just after completing 10th. Although the process of becoming commercial pilot starts once the candidate has completed 10th standard. But it is only the first stage of the commercial pilot course.

To reach latter stages which includes flying lessons, you will have to complete 12th with PCM as the subjects. I should also mention that commercial pilot courses are quite expensive and unless you are willing to spend 10 to 15 Lakh rupee, please do not apply for it.

Before I write down the entire procedure, here is the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

1. Candidate must have completed 12th PCM from a recognized board.

2. Minimum of 50 percent marks in 12th.

3. The age limit to obtain commercial pilot licence is 18 to 30 years.

Physical Requirements

1. You height should be at least 5 feet.

2. You vision should be 6/6. Candidates are allowed to wear eyeglasses as long as their vision is correctable to 20/20.

3. You should not have fear of heights to apply for commercial pilot licence.

Procedure

Step 1 - Student’s Pilot Licence

First step includes obtaining Student’s Pilot Licence. You won't have to fly the plane for this licence. A basic maths test is needed to be cleared to get the student licence. Please remember that your age should be at least 16 years and must have cleared 10th to obtain student's licence.

Step 2 - Private Pilot Licence

The real training will begin when you will apply for private pilot licence. You will have to get the 40 hours of flying experience with an instructor and 20 hours to solo flying experience. Once you achieve that, there would be a written test that you must clear.

Step 3 - Commercial Pilot Licence

Final stage would be obtaining commercial pilot licence. There is a requirement of at least 250 hours of flying experience which you will have to obtain. Following that there will be series of written test by DGCA on various aspects of the aircraft that you will need to pass. In the end DGCA will ask you to go through a medical test following which you will get commercial pilot licence.
