Having distance education degree is not going to be a issue if applying for government jobs. There are various jobs for graduation degree holders in the government sector. Below are the best options for you. Banking Job You can apply for banking job in government banks commonly known as Public Sector Banks. The Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts two exams which you can give. The names of these exams are: IBPS Clerk IBPS Bank PO You are eligible for both exams. However I will recommend that you apply for Bank PO. Clearing the exam will make you eligible for job in 19 Public Sector Banks that participates in the exams. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. Only Indian citizens can apply. 2. A graduation degree in any stream. 3. Diploma/Degree in computers or Computer/IT as a subject in high school or college. 4. You should be fluent in the official language of the state where you want job. 5. The age limit is 20 to 28 years. 6. OBC are given 3 years relaxation in upper age limit. 7. SC/ST are given 5 years relaxation. IBPS Bank PO 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. A graduation degree in any stream. 3. There is no percentage criteria. 4. Age limit is 2o to 30 years. 5. The candidates belonging to OBC category are given 3 years relaxation in upper age limit. 6. SC/ST candidates are given 5 years relaxation. Civil Service Examination The next good option for you is Civil Service Examination. You can appear for competitive exam for Indian Police Service or Indian Administrative Service. The requirement here is also graduation degree. Below is the criteria for IAS/IPS exam. Eligibility 1. Only citizens of India can apply, including NRIs. 2. Minimum qualification requirement is graduation degree. 3. There is no requirement of minimum percentage. Age Limit 1. The age limit as per August 1 of examination year is 21 to 30 years. 2. If belong to OBC category then age limit is 21 to 33 years. 3. 21 to 35 years is the age limit for SC/ST candidates. |
