Re: Can I apply for CBSE scholarship after scoring 92.2% marks in 12th exam? shefali, u definitely have a very strong chance of getting a scholarship after having obtained such good marks in your 10+2 exams. cbse provides scholarship under central scheme to every student who have their scores among 90 percentile of all the students appearing from their respective streams. check out the cut off for this year's 90 percentile. but 92% is very good score i think u will be eligible for it. go to cbse's website- cbse.nic.in *click on public portal *when this page opens,scroll down to bottom of this page and you will find an option for scholarship. *check out the details for "cbse scholarship under central scheme". *also if you are a single girl child then there are different rules for you.check that also. ALL THE BEST. |

But few condition's are their: *You must have to join any course after you 10+2 class.i mean to say if you go for any coaching for b tech then you can't get these scholarship. *You must have to join btech these year only. Scolarship amount for above 90% students:Rs 81000 For first three year(after your 10+2 class) you get:Rs 1000 per month. For next two years:Rs 2000 per month. So,to get these amount you have to fill application form online provided on cbse website and make attested these copy with your college (where you going to do Btech) and send to the address of CBSE before 30 september 2011. Some of this scholarships are - 1.Merit-Cum Means Scholarship. 2. Minority Scholarship. 3. IOCL Scholarship. 4. LIC Scholarship. 5. Amul Vidya Vusan Scholarship. 6. Sitaram Jindal Scholarship. 7. Hazi Muhammad Scholarship. (only for girls) 8. Fair & Lovely Scholarship. Common Eligibility for this scholarships : 1. Applicant must be passed his previous with 50% marks. 2.
