Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? ome companies do have certain cutoff percentage of 60%. Like say infosys has 65% cutoff while wipro has 60%. So it varies. So companies even have a system wherein all matters is how you fare in the interview. So prepare well for the interview and i dont think 1 year percentage is the right thing to judge as its your personality and knowledge about the subject which matter So apply for all possible companies you can reach to |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? those require minimum of 60% marks throughout to enter into their company. but there is also so many company which recruit student who have less than 60% marks. first try to get job in any company then gain some experience there. after that apply for a good leading company through walk in interview with your experience. surely you will get a good job. best of luck. |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? It is true that many companies coming for campus recruitment require at least 60% throughout the applicant’s educational life. So a score of less than 60% in BTech might pose some problems for you. But don't loose heart, you will still find good jobs. There are some companies which require less than 60% (mostly 50% or 55%) as a cut off for applying to vaccancies in their organizations. You should go through the minimum educational requirement of companies & ensure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria before applying for a particular job. |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? In government sectors the eligibility criteria for most exams are 60%, so I think it is a problem for you .Only few Govt. sectors don't require 60% like rail, HAL etc......... In privet sectors it can create a problem, because the most MNCs and core companies required 60%. But nothing is impossible , do any job and get experienced only after that no one will go to see the result . thank you |

few companies want 60% abow percentage. You can try for many companies. So dont worry about your future. The main thing is how do you have knowledge in your field. The knowledge and skills are the main things for a job.Companies want good worker not a good percentage holder.Big companies deal with this agreement because Its easy to select a person who have a good percentage. I hope you get your answer. So dont worry about your future and find a job. All the best |

That' s why there is so much big company which no required any criteria they can take openly any-one seat in written test if you clear that test then you can go directly interview.......... that's this is so much important how much talent you on that time............ |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? In India if a student is an educated one & laborious too then to get a job will not be a problem for HIM.But as your marks is below 60% so it might be possible that in the beginning you have to prove yourself by making more efforts than others. But once it proved then you will be upgraded to a higher position as well.So its better to register yourself in "Naukari.com" & get the latest updates from there & proceed for an interview. |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? The 1st thing you have to note down is how much you got in your 10th and 12th too if you have % more than 60 in those two you are somewhat safer...Don't give up hope...there are lots of companies which ask people with 55% to attend their aptitude exam...So prepare well for the aptitude once you are good at it u can reach the next round. After that mostly your communication skill and how you show yourself in the interview only matters. Lookout for offcampus interviews. Check newspapers daily there are tons of jobs waiting for the right person don't think about your marks. Try to improve yourself all the ways you can. If you are a CSE student then try to finish some courses ( which are valued in software company ) outside of your college same thing goes if you are a core student attend some courses which value these will help during interviews are even when your resume has to be selected against 1000 others they'll be eye catching. Forget your Weak point strengthen your other areas which are necessary to win the interview. There are a lot of jobs waiting both in core and in software. Prepare well. And ya there are various websites offering sample question papers for many companies eg. freshers world.... And the most important thing is register and submit your resume in websites like Monster.com, Times job, Technical symposium.net etc.. Once you get mail from these websites saying you have been selected for an interview in a company check in the company website whether there is really placement opportunity because there are many frauds who send a mail saying you got selected for an interview just Deposit 5000Rs. to this account or send your credit card no. so be vary..... All the Best. Don't loose hope. Prepare well. |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? hii Less than 60% marks in B.tech If you have scored less than 60% marks in B.Tech., then you can get private job only because For government job, minimum eligibility is 65 % marks in B.E. or B.Tech. from a regonised university. So you can apply for private jobs. You can job in BPO, Call centre there are many companies who dont have any requirement while recruiting on campus and off campus but some prefer that candidates must have 60% throughout there acadmics yes surely you will get the jobs because mainly company put there eligibility criteria betwween 55% to 60% for this you should log on to the site http://www.fresherworld.com you have more chance to join govt jobs they put the criteria 55% good luck,. |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job? If You Have Scored Below 60% Marks In Your Bachelor Degree Exams, then I think You will Face the Problem, While You are Apply for Jobs OR Campus Placements. Because In These days Every Company Wants Atleast Minimum 60% Marks In Your Career. So, If You have mentain 60% Marks From Your 10th Onward to till Your Graduation, Only then You are Eligible to Get Jobs in Top Companies. In Now A Days Very few Companies Wants 55% Marks In Your Career, So, If You have Scored Less marks, then You will be face some Problem While you are appear for Jobs OR Campus Placements. But dont worry, It does Not Mean that You Will Not get Jobs, Definitely You will get Jobs If you have Good Communication skills and Knowledge. But Marks Will Also required Equal Importance. In These Days Every Company Need 60% Marks Candidates. |

Hello, Well it good that you have scored more than 60% in your final year. The minimum criteria for getting a job in MNC will be above 60% but don't worry there are some companies who don't have any criteria.I don't think there are any companies who will only look for final year marks.Even if it is there then it will be some non reputed companies.
