CDS stands for COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year this exam have three wings those are 1.ARMY 2.AIR FORCE 3.NAVY graduate students are eligible for this exam ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Degree holders are eligible Age limit for this exam is 19 to 24 years Candidate should be a citizen of india Only unmarried male candidates are applicable physically fit for candidate SELECTION PROCESS: Written exam Medical test Interview for more information please visit the website www.upsc.gov.in ALL THE BEST.... |

 CDS Stands for Combined Defence Services Examination . This Examination is conducted every year twice as CDS-I & CDS-II by the Union Public Service Commission. The CDS Exam is conducted for the selection of candidates in the following : 1) Indian Militant Academy 2) Naval Academy 3) Air Force Academy 4) Officers Training Academy The Eligibility Criteria for CDS Examination are mentioned below : a) Nationality : You must be an Indian Citizen. b) Educational Qualification : IMA / OTA : A Degree from a recognized University or equivalent Naval Academy : B.Sc with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of ENgineering AIr Force Academy : Degree from a recognized university (with physics & mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering) c) Age Limit : Your age must lie in between 18-24 years. d) Physical Standards : 1) Minimum Height Required :  2) Eye Sight :  This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. CDS Exam Wings following Academies : **Indian Naval Academy **Officer's Training Academy **Indian Military Academy **Indian Air Force Academy Educational qualification:- The candidates should be complete graduation from any recognised university. Both male and female candidates are eligible. The age limits are 19 years to 25years, no age relaxation. CDS exam Pattern:  all the best.............. |

Dear aspirant, -Yes you can apply for CDS exam if you are graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. -CDS is a combined defence services exam for recruitment of officers in army, air force and navy. -You are a non-technical graduate hence you will be eligible only for Indian army through CDS exam. -The age limit for applying to CDS exam is 19 to 25 years for officers training academy (OTA) , Chennai. -You have to pass the objective type paper and SSB interview to become a officer in Indian army. -You must be physically fit to join defence services otherwise you will be rejected during medical examination. A graduation completed candidate can be eligible for CDS(Combined Defence Service), you are completed BA first year so you are eligible for CDS exam. CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year. Four wings in CDS:- Indian naval academy, Indian military academy, Indian airforce academy, Officer training academy. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university. Percentage is not required to apply this exam. Final year graduation persuing candidates also eligible for this exam. The candidate must be physically fit. Candidate must be a indian origin. Age limits:- For naval academy--> 19 years to 22years, For military academy--> 19 to 24years, For airforce academy--> 19 to 23years, For Officer training academy--> 19years to 25years. Re: How can i join CDS after completion of graduation by Arts? hi, cds exam stands for combined defence service exam which is conducred by upsc twice in a YEAR. cds exam is conducted inot following wings;- military academy navel academy air force academy officer training academy you are arts graduate from a recognized university. therefore you are eligible for army and officer training academy to join this exam, *you must be graduate from a recognized university. *age limit is 19.-23 years. *both unmarried male and female can apply this exam. for more;- upsc.gov.in |

Navy and air force exams the candidate need physics chemistry and mathematics subjects. CDS stands for Combined Defence Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. CDS has three wings Army Navy Air force Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification: Candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university. Final Year appearing candidates also eligible for this exam. Navy and Air force exam candidate need PCM subjects. Age limit: The candidate age limit is between 19 to 24 years. But candidate should have citizen of india. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. ALL THE BEST. |
