Hello Friend, National Defense Academy (NDA) entrance exam is conducted for recruiting eligible candidates to Indian Armed Force such as Indian Army Wings, Indian Navy Wings , Indian Air force Wings. Eligibility: 1.Educational Qualification- For Army Wings- The Candidates have passed 12th standard or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board or University. For Air force/Navy wings- The candidate should have passed +2 or 12th standard with physics & Math from a recognized board/university. 2.Age Required - 16 1/2 to 19 years of the year of examination. 3.Gender - male 4.Marital Status- only Unmarried male candidates are apply for the exam. 5.candidates who are applying for the exam should have Indian citizenship. NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted twice every year by UPSC for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. Age Criteria for NDA:- The minimum age of entry is 16.5 years and maximum age of entry is 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate. Regarding other qualification for NDA:- -The can didate must be an unmarried Indian Male. -Should have either appeared for the final 12th Exam or passed in any stream from a recognised Board. -Should have possessed good Physical and Mental health. NDA - National Defence Academy. UPSC conducts NDA for twice in a year. The Eligibility Criteria : Nationality - Citizen of India. Sex- only unmarried male candidates. Age - 16.5 to 19 years. Educational Qualification: For Indian Army - 12th pass. For Indian Navy & Indian Air Force - 12th pass with physics & maths subjects. All the best. |

I Have mentioned all the basic requirements for NDA Exam below for your convenience : * You must be an Indian Citizen. * You must be an unmarried male. * Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years. * You must have passed 12th with PCM as your key subjects from any recognized board. * Appearing students can also apply , but only for NDA - I . * You must be physically and mentally fit. First required educational qualifications are you must completed the 10+2 with maths as a compulsory subjects for indian air force and indian navy. For indian army required educational qualifications are you must completed the 10th class only and here not required any percentage. Required age limit for all entry levels must be between 16 1/2 years to 19 years at the time of applying application form. Also required physical standards are height must be 162 cm and hest should be 48 cm and you must be physical fit and must be indian citizen. Selection Processor : For this the selection processor is based on the following 3 stages such as written test and physical test and final interview. Apart from first conducted the written test after qualifying the written test called for physical test and personal interview. Qualifications for NDA Age limit :- 16.5 - 19 years Educational Qualifications  i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. |

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY This examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ,for recruit officers post in their in all three branches of the Indian army. Through this examination one can apply for all the combatant forces of the India.. i.e. NAVAL WING AIR FORCE WING MILITARY BRANCH Educational requirements- * 12th degree from a recognized board with maths in any stream ..for being eligible for the military branch. * For apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , you must have Physics & Maths in 12th with at least 60% in 12th. Re: Qualification and age requirements for NDA exam? dear frind , here i have give you some information regarding to the NDA examination. the age limit exist for this exam is 16.5--19 years. for appearing in this exam you must have to complete your + examination. there are3 wings in the indian army- army wing naval wing air force wing Eligible candidates may apply for Any one of the Wings - >> Army Wings >> Air- Force Wings >> Naval Wings for Naval Wings and Air- Force Wings you need to complete your 12Th examination with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subjects. but for army you justhave to pass your10+2 examination. |
