Re: How to join Indian Air Force? I am studying in class 12th YES !!!!!!!!!You will have to give the NDA exam in this regard. This exam is conducted twice a year under the supervision of UPSC. The eligibility criterion for giving NDA is given below- 1.You should be an Indian national 2.You should be a 12th passed or 12th appearing candidate. 3.You should be in the age group of 16-1/2 to 19 years. After clearing the exam you will have to go through the interview.Then you can choose from joining Army , Navy or Air-force. |

Re: How to join Indian Air Force? I am studying in class 12th Hi friend........ You can join Air force first you can apply for the NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conducted by the UPSC once in a year. NDA has three wings: Indian Air force Navy Indian Army Eligibility: You should be complete the 12th standard from any recognized university. No percentage required for this exam. You can have the PCM subjects compulsory to join the Indian Air force. Your age limit is 16.5 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam. Selection Process: Written Test Medical Test Interview All the best.......... |

IAF is the short or abbreviated form of the Indian Air Force. This is one of the most reputed organizations in our country. It is a defense sector and thus requires young and dynamic individuals at various posts in both ground as well as airborne staffs. IAF intakes through the NDA Examination. NDA - National Defense Academy. This is conducted on All India basis twice in the months of April and August. You can apply for any one or even both.. Now if you wish to apply for the NDA, then you have to meet certain Eligibility Criteria's. Please go through them. -> You must be an unmarried Male Indian -> Your age should not me less than 16.5 years and should not be more than 19 years in the year of applying. -> You should be a minimum 12th pass/appeared from a recognized board to take up this. -> Physical fitness is also a must as you have to pass through the Physical Test also. -> You have not mentioned as in which stream are you doing your Class 12th, because its also a factor. Only the Science students are open to take ANY of the 3 wings, whereas the Commerce and Arts are only eligible for the Army. Thus once you check all these Eligibility Criteria's and find yourself eligible, then you can take up this Exam. If you are man with indomitable spirit of patriotism & adventure , Then the Indian Air Force (IAF), would be the best carrier , you have got, I think. In order to apply for the IAF , there is a Examination commonly known as NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA), This examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) every year for twice . Through NDA, one can apply for the -- :- INDIAN AIR FORCE,(IAF) :-NAVAL ACADEMY,(NA) :-INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY(IMA) Educational requirements-- A candidates must possess a 12th degree from a recognized board,.In order to apply for the INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF) & NAVAL ACADEMY (NA), you must have subjects PHYSICS & MATHS in 12th, . You must have scored atleast 60% in 12th examination (aggregate). Selection procedure-- 1. WRITTEN TEST 2. SSB 3. PHYSICAL TEST. I am studying in class 12th hi, To join Air Force which is one of the 3 defence wings of National Defence Academy, the other two being the Naval and Army wing, one has to appear for the NDA exam conducted twice every year. To appear for the exam, one has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria: *Age of the candidate has to be from 16 ½ to 19 years *Nationality should be Indian *Gender- This is applicable only to men. *Educational Qualifications- One has to pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Final year students can also apply. ### Candidates, short-listed for Air Force after the initial selection procedure, go through a rigorous three-year training regimen at the National Defence Academy, followed by specialised training at the Air Force Academy. Thereafter, they are commissioned as officers and posted as pilots at any of the Air Force Stations. The exam is conducted by UPSC all over India in all the major cities Good luck |

This NDA Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. One can join the following Defence services by cracknig this NDA Exam -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing The selection procedure to be placed in above Defence wings is by -Written Exam -Interview Later on, the candidate will also have to undergo a medical test. Here is the required eligibility criteria that the candidates should possess to appear for this Exam. -One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing. -But in order to be eligible for Navy and Air Force wings, one should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects. -Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to apply for this Exam. One can get the application forms for this Exam from the designated post offices all over India. As per age criteria, you need to be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.
