Re: Difference between IAS and MBA?

HI

There is too much difference between the two

Firstly IAS is a post while MBA is a course or degree

For IAS you need to appear for UPSC and you are given administrative job
For MBA you need to appear for various MBA entrance exam such as CAT, CMAT, ZAT, XAT, GMAT, SNAP, NMAT, TISS etc and you get job which is managerial in nature.

For IAS, your age should be 21-30 years ( relaxation as per the government reservation)
No age limit for MBA

Similarity between the two is you need to have graduation degree from recognized college/institute irrespective of your field in graduation

All the best

Re: Difference between IAS and MBA?

Its always not true in politics,if you are right and you are doing right things,so don't think that anyone can stop you.
If you want to change the shape of society and politics then prepare for IAS,which is tough and reputed.
Otherwise do MBA to get job in MNC and follow corporate culture.

This is real situation. So, looking at this, should I go for MBA or is there any solution?
