Re: When will be the SCRA Exam for the year 2013? Hi, SCRA Exam 2013 :- SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) exam will be conducted on 20th January 2013. . Applications have already been out now. The exam of SCRA is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) for 4 years apprentice in Indian railway. The eligibility criteria for this exam are - Candidates age minimum 17 years and not more than 21 years and the passed 10+2 class with first or second division in mathematics, physics or chemistry. |

 SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC Once in a year . The SCRA 2013 exam notification was already released and it is available in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news paper . Eligibility Criteria :: Applicant must have completed intermediate course in first or second class with physics , chemistry and mathematics as subjects from a recognized School and Even graduate degree holders may also eligible with at least one of the following subjects like physics , chemistry and mathematics as subjects from a recognized University . Applicant must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories , 5 years for SC/ST , 3 years for OBC and other reserved categories . Examination Fees :: 100 /- ( No fees for SC/ST/PH candidates ) . The Special Class Railway Examination shall be conducted according to the following procedure :: Written examination as well as personal Interview Written Examination carries Maximum 600 Marks in the subjects are General ability , General knowledge , Physics Science , Mathematics . Re: When will be the SCRA Exam for the year 2013? UPSC has published the calendar of examinations 2013. According to the calendar of examination the notification for the examination shall be published on 13th October 2012. The last date for the receipt of application will be 12th November 2012. The examination shall be conducted on 20th January 2013. For syllabus and other details regarding this exam, you can refer previous examination advertisement, attached with this message. |
