Hi Friend.....

The Main reason for learning all about math is to become better problem solvers in all aspects of life. Many problems are multi step and require some type of systematic approach. Most of all, there are a couple of things you need to do when solving problems. ask yourself exactly what type of information in being asked for. Then determine all the information that is being given to your in the question. When you clearly understand the answers to those two questions, you are then ready to devised your plan. some key questions as you approach the problem may be.

What are my key words?

Do i need a diagram?List?Table?

Is there a formula or equation that Ill need? Which one?

Read the problem carefully, decide on a method to solve the problem, Sole the problem. Then, check your work and make sure that your answer makes sense and that you've used the same terms or units in your answer.

all the best....

Regards....

Re: Techniques to solve Maths questions for Bank PO exam?

There are no mathematical related problems in the bank po exams.

But there is quantitative aptitude. In which most of the questions are from.

percentages
profit & loss
simple interest & compound interest
time and work
time and distance
Hcf and lcm
alligations

The only thing to get the problems done in less time is by repeated doing of the same
problem.Make sure that you have to complete the problem with in very less time.So that
after sometimes doing the problem you may solve just by mind thinking any mind
calculation.
