Re: Which Books to prepare for SBI Clerk Exam? Hello Friend, SBI clerk exam pattern Details : SBI clerk exam consists of total 5 sections. They are 1>General Awareness 2>.General English 3>Quantitative Aptitude 4>Reasoning Ability 5>Marketing Aptitude/Computer knowledge Each section consist of 40 questions and each question carry one mark So total sbi clerk exam will be have 200 questions and valued for 200 marks. Interview Marks: Personal interview of sbi clerk exam consists of 35 marks .based on the scores in written exam and interview final selection of the candidate will be decided. Negative marks Rule : There will be a penalty for for wrong answers. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will deducted from the total marks secured by the candidate. Question paper Language : Sbi clerk written examination question paper will come in both Hindi and English languages (except english section) . Minimum passing percentages would be relaxed upto 5% for reserved category (SC/ST/PWD/EXSM/OBC) candidates Qualifying marks : SBI clerk Qualifying marks details . Candidate has to qualify in each section and as well as get marks above the minimum qualifying marks decided by the SBI after the examination. These qualifying marks are decided based on the number of candidates appeared for sbi clerk exam and highest marks secured by the candidates.so there is no pre defined structure for qualifying marks in sbi clerk exam.  SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:- Educational Qualification: To give this exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out from a recognized school or institution. (OR) After class 10 if you have done a diploma degree and have secured the same percentage as mentioned then also you are eligible provided it has not been done in correspondence and its duration is not less than two years. (OR) If you have completed graduation then you just need to secure the pass marks to sit for this exam. Age Criteria:- The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 18 years. The upper age limit is 28 years. Age Relaxation:- There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates: ~SC/ST Candidates: 5 years. ~OBC Candidates: 3 years. ~PWD Candidates: 10 years. For preparing section 3, 4 mentioned above you should follow book "Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning", and "Quantitative Aptitude" written by Dr. R. S. Interview You would need to clear the Written Test first in order to get selected for interview. The Written Test consists of questions from the following sections: 1. General awareness 2. General English 3. Quantitative Aptitude 4. Reasoning Ability 5. Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge All the above sections has 40 question each and carry 1 mark each. Time allotted to answer these 200 questions is 2 hours and 15 minutes. For every incorrect answer there is negative marking of -0.25. You can follow the books below for preparation of the Written Test:
