Re: Eligibility criteria for post of drug inspector? I have done B.Pharmacy Yes you are eligible for the post of Drug Inspector. Drug inspector examination is conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) as well as state Public Service Commission To get job as drug inspector you must be graduate in agriculture/pharmacy/food technology/diary technology from any recognized collage. Or Graduation in the medical also eligible for this post. or you have taken the chemistry,biology,agriculture then you are eligible for this exam. Age limit: your minimum age limit should be 21 years and must be citizen of India. Keep visiting for more information www.upsc.gov.in Thanks.. |

Re: Eligibility criteria for post of drug inspector? I have done B.Pharmacy B.Pharm graduates are eligible for drug Inspector position. Graduation in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical science is the main criterion for this position. Along with this, you need to also have specialization in pharmacology or microbiology also. Maximum age of the candidates should be 30 years to appear for this exam. Candidates need to attend written exam so as to get section for this post. Apart from this, one should also have 2 years experience in drug manufacturing too. |

I have done B.Pharmacy hi Qualifications of Inspectors: A person who is appointed an Inspector under the Act shall be a person who has a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law: (i) Who have not less than 18 months' experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances or (ii) Who have not less than 18 months' experience in testing of at least one of the substances in a Laboratory approved for this purpose by the licensing authority; or (iii) Who have gained experience of not less than three years in the inspection of firms manufacturing any of the substances . POST IN DRUG DEPARTMENT

This exam is conducted by the state govt of india and every year the state govt are inviting the applications forms. If you want become a drugs inspector then you need to qualify the following tests conducted by the state govt of india.
For attending the written exam, you need to qualify the required requirements like educational qualifications and age limit and more. Required Eligibility : -------------------- For attending the written exam, required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation in pharmacy / pharmaceutical science / medicine with specialization in clinical pharmacology / microbiology from recognized university. And required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 36 years and here age relaxation is available as per govt rules for reserved category candidates are given below:
