Any university which is under the University Grant Commission need not to take approval from AICTE coz AICTE is a part of UGC. If University is running under UGC than it is not necessary to take the approval from AICTE

CMJ university is only YET registered as a private university under UGC act. It will most likely be approved but not approved yet as "the status of the university with regards to UGC inspection " is PENDING/Awaiting, meaning it is only notified by UGC & can give a degree as private university but is not fully approved as the approval is pending/awaited...When CMJ university is going to approved ?

In order to be considered eligible for teaching position in AICTE approved engineering colleges, one must have passed the qualifying exam from an approved university. After pursuing M.tech from CMJ University, you will not be eligible to apply to recognized engineering college and therefore, you must consider some other university for pursuing your M.Tech program.
