==> A candidate must have completed their Bechelor Degree with atleast 55% from recognise universities.

There will be no Bank PO exam now in 2012 therefore the only option for you is IBPS Clerk Exam. In fact the admission process to appear for this exam is currently underway and you can too apply for it if meets the criteria.


There have been some changes made in the Clerk exam and from now onwards 10th and 12th pass candidates are no longer eligible to apply. From now on you need a graduation degree to apply for it. This rule was changed on the request of PSU banks.


The exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services for the 19 PSU Banks. Those who clear the exam are eligible for job in these 19 PSU Banks. Below is the list:

Eligibility

1. You must be Indian citizen.

2. A graduation degree in any stream.

3. Computer Knowledge is also required. You should have Computers/IT as a subject in High School/College.

4. You must be fluent in official language of the state in which you want job. For example if you want job in Maharashtra then you must be able to speak Marathi language.



Age Limit

1. For general candidates age limit is 18 to 28 years.

2. For OBC there is 3 years relaxation.

3. SC/ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation.

You should visit the http://www.ibps.in/ to apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam.


The admission forms are being accepted by IBPS till 5 November 2012. After this date you can not apply for the exam.

IBPS Clerical online exam application was already started and the exam notification details was also available in the official website of IBPS Examination .

Clerical as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for clerical cadre post in the public sector bank will be conducted online by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection tentatively in December or January . This examination is conducted for recruitment of Clerical Cadre in 20 public sector banks .

You must have a minimum qualification of graduate degree with any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized University . Any discipline candidate can apply for this examination but final year candidates are not eligible to apply . There is no percentage bar required for this examination .

You must have a minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is applicable for this examination .

How to apply ??

Candidate can apply online only from 15.10.12 to 05.11.12 and there is no other application forms are accepted . To apply online application then the candidate need to scan their photograph and signature into the online application and have a necessary to documents to apply . And candidate have to pay the fees in online or offline modes .

-400/- for General categories .

Dear aspirant,

-Notifications for IBPS exam comes every 6 months. You can get the notifications in the month of may/june and nov/december.

-So you can expect now in december just wait for it .

-You can apply for IBPS exams online and pay the fees online with debit card or net banking or by bank challan.

-Exam after applying is usually after 1 or 2 months.

-So you start preparing for these exams exams can be announced in any time.

Next IBPS exam will be conducted for the selection of clerical staff. Exam will be carried out in the month of December. Acceptation of applications started from Oct 15. Last date for submitting the application is Nov 5. Further details can be collected from the official portal of IBPS.
