Re: Courses available in Shipping field for 12th commerce student? hello sir, i am in the commerce feild doing 12th . sir i just wanted to know that what are the basic exams we need 2 write to join this course . sir i would also like 2 want 2 knw tht am i eligible after doing 12th commerce 2 join merchat navy.sir i have got 80 % in 1st year commerce. and also i want 2 knw tht what will be the basic salary of this course. sir i wanted 2 knw what is the gp rating course. sir i also wanted 2 knw wht is shipping logistics,martimine logistics,sea trate management. sir what will be better for me 2 do . from these three shipping courses (mentioned above ) which is the best course for me . which is the course that will be available for me to do just after completing 12th commerce. sir i also want 2 knw the procedure of this course. |

But if you want you enter diploma and later do courses such as maritime logistics/sea trade management/shipping logistics.for this you have to complete your graduation with 60%so |

But if you want you enter diploma and later do courses such as maritime logistics/sea trade management/shipping logistics.so if you complete your graduation with 60% aggregate then you get a direct entry as a logistic officer. The details of the course is as under- Any Class X pass students or higher but from non-science background can join the Merchant Navy by enrolling for the GP Rating Course. Admissions for the GP Rating Course are done throughout the year. There are three intakes in a year for all courses. January / February June / July October / November Students have to undergo a 1 hour written test for English and Mathematics at our offices in Mumbai or Delhi. For details, please go through the information on various courses and fill up the ENQUIRY FORM. good luck |

Re: Courses available in Shipping field for 12th commerce student? dear friend, there are many shipping courses available..but i am not sure whether they would allow just a 12th commerce stream student to attend. as per my knowledge, the minimum required qualification would be a diploma related to commerce or shipping. anyways my friend, i would suggest you to do B.Com and then specialise yourself in the course in shipping and thus you can join it. whatever be your decision, All the very best.
