Re: Minimum Percentage of Marks to be eligible for GATE Exam?

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to be eligible to apply for GATE Exam is by completion of Graduation.

Only those candidates who have completed their Graduation in Engineering are eligible to apply for this Exam.

You don't need to worry about the percentage of marks that are required in Graduation to be eligible for this Exam.

Successful completion of Engineering course is more than enough in making the candidate to be eligible for this Exam.

The advantage for you is that,

There is no limit on the number of attempts for this Exam. You can take this exam as many times as they wanted.

There is no upper age limit also to give this Exam.

In addition, the validity of the GATE score card is for 2 years.

These many benefits are there for the candidates through GATE Exam. Make most out of it.

If you possess the above mentioned criteria, I suggest you to apply for this Exam.

Have good preparation for this Exam from a Coaching Institute and crack the Exam.

Wish you all the best.

Re: Minimum Percentage of Marks to be eligible for GATE Exam?

Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) in Engineering is a all India entrance examination. It is an entrance exam in order to get admission in master courses in engineering. Even if you want to have Job in certain PSU's, GATE score can be considered for that. You must have bachelor degree in B.e/B.tech. There is no minimum percentage nor there is any age limit to appear in the exam, but you must 18 years or above. The score card of Gate is valid for a period of two year. Remember, It is an tough examination, so, you need to study well and put some quality time for study not quantity of time. You must provide hard labour for that examination. Admission is given on the merit basis.
