Re: Photograph Error in Aieee Form, pasted a non-emmbossed color Photo

sorry to say but your form may get rejected as the aieee people ask to emboss the photo so that no one can copy your particular application. So in case you have not embossed your photo it may appear as if it were a fake form. still as the dates are over you can't fill the form again just pray god to save your form.

Re: Photograph Error in Aieee Form, pasted a non-emmbossed color Photo

Q. coloured or b/w photo required for aieee?

A. Both will do, but the contrast & quality should be very good. The information brochure states "preferably" black-&-white i.e. not necessarily. But remember to add your name & date (after 01-10-2010) to the photo's bottom

Hi,
Yes, you should take the photograph with the name and date. It can be done in two ways- either holding the board or you can add it with computerised.

All the best.

Hi,
for this year, you have only B arch option, since you have already sent the form and you can't do anything on that.

Hi,
I think your application form wont be rejected because its a minor problem.
But dont repeat such mistake in future.
Or if you are not happy, enquire and sent a requisition letter mentioning about the mistake you did to the AIEEE office.

All the best.
Thank you.

Re: Photograph Error in Aieee Form, pasted a non-emmbossed color Photo

If CBSE give you conformation statement that the form has been rejected then it would be quite better to apply once again through offline application form. Application forms are available upto 14 january 2011.

Re: Photograph Error in Aieee Form, pasted a non-emmbossed color Photo

Form cannot be corrected once upon submission. All you can do is to contact CBSE regional office. They can provide you necessary information about the issue. One can never apply two application form as two application from same candidate will be cancelled.

see aditya,

The form filling and all dates have been over...

the only one thing you can do that go for AIEEE contact address.

and i think..they gonna fine you or gonna reject your form..

mostly they don't..so be polite to them when you are requesting for the same.

here i am giving the rules for photograph for AIEEE 2011 application mentioned in the AIEEE website.

Photograph : Firmly affix two recent high contrast passport size preferably black & white photograph (taken on or after 1.9.2010) with gum/fevicol (not to be pinned or stapled) in the space provided for it in the Application Form one duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate is studying/passed class XII or the Gazatted officer. The photograph must indicate clearly the name of the candidate along with the date of taking the photograph. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. The photograph of the candidate should be attested by the Principal/Head of the Institution or Gazetted Officer in such a way that part of the signature is on the photograph and remaining part of the signature is on the application form. Attestation should be done on the bottom part of the photograph so that the photograph is not defaced. Candidates not complying with these instructions or with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Candidates may keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination/Counselling/Admission.

so photo should be taken with name and date of birth and photo should be preferable black and white.

i will suggest you to contact with AIEEE office to correct your mistake or to know your application will be rejected or not. the contact details is given in the information brochure.

best wishes.
