UPSC - Union Public Service Commission It is responsible to conduct exams for IAS / IPS /IFS /IES etc. The exams for civil services are conductive in successive stages. There are three stages - 1. Preliminary exam 2. main Exam 3. interview Preliminary exam is also known as CSAT. CSAT - Civil Services Aptitude Test This is objcetive exam. Main exam is subjective. The pattern of the exam is - Attachment 136817 As said , the main exam is subjective type and candidate has to elect subjects in it. There are a choice of subjects.
