Re: What steps to be taken after 12th to become a pilot?

Dear There,

If you want to become a pilot you should have PCM subjects in 12th board.
Minimum marks should be 50%.

After 12th you have to clear the entrance test conducted by flying schools/intitutes.

and the tough physical fitness test to get admissions in flying schools or institutes.

You can also become an Indian air force pilot through clearing NDA examination conducted by UPSC.

Thanks.

Re: What steps to be taken after 12th to become a pilot?

Dear Friend,

After Completing 12th , you can become a Pilot by cracking the NDA Examination and joining the Indian Air Force.

The Steps that you should consider are :

a) You have passed 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your keys subjects because if you have not passed 12th with these combinations then you cannot become Pilot.

b) Your age must be in between 16.5-19 years.

c) You must be a citizen of India.

d) You must be physically and mentally fit.

The NDA Examination is conducted in two phases :

* Written Examination

* Interview Test

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

Re: What steps to be taken after 12th to become a pilot?

hello

To become a pilot, aspirants need to join Air flying schools after completion of 10+2, they should pass the 10+2 exam with physic, chemistry, math. Minimum marks should be 50%.So, you have to complete 10+2 to appear for any pilot training ....

They need to clear the entrance test exam of the flying schools in India, they also need to clear the physical fitness (Which is tough one). Only totally fit person can get opportunity to get admission in flying schools.

Don’t confuse with the job of pilot of Indian air Force. IAF pilot is selected through NDA exam, training is free!!!!!
But if opt for private training it will be very costly

Re: What steps to be taken after 12th to become a pilot?

You can pursue this field only if you have studied the science subjects along with Mathematics in 12th standard. To begin with take the SPL exam. You will need to be prepared in Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation Air Technical. After that you need to take the PPL and gain 60 hours of flying experience. There will be a test at this level too. Only after this can you go in for the CPL.
