Engineering degrees form professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (eg. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India)) as equivalent to BE/B.Tech in the in the disciplines of Any Engineering For the above disciplines for the post of Engineering Trainee, candidates with Engineering Degree in some other disciplines will also be considered, for which they will, however take the GATE exam in one of the relevant BHEL advertised discipline NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation)  NTPC is the biggest power company in the country NTPC Exam Eligibility: Educational Eligibility: Min. 55% marks for SC, ST and Physically Challenged & 65% marks for others.
