The CLAT traditionally has never given a very details syllabus.

It just mentions the five sections of

English
Maths
Reasoning
GK - Current Affairs
Legal Aptitude
Look at the past year papers (if you have registered for CLAT 2019, you have the option of purchasing them from the official website) and you will get a fair idea

Re: Can we directly apply for CLAT after passing 12th? How should I prepare?

Hi friend..

CLAT stands for Common law Admission Test.
The test is conducted for admission in undergraduate as well as post graduate courses in National School of Law.
You can appear in this test after passing your 12th.

The exam is conducted once in a year and its centres are spread all over the country.
There are 14 National School of Laws in our country and they are considered as top institutes for law education in India.

If you have done your graduation, then you can go for LLB course.
After graduation, this course is of 3 years duration while a student can do 5 years LLB course after 12th.
There are many students who appear in CLAT and very few are able to get admission in it.
So,you will have to perform very well in the exam if you want to take admission in a National School of Law.

I am listing the names of National Law Schools in India below:-
1.NLSIU,Bangalore.
2.NALSAR,Hyderabad.
3.National Law Institute,Bhopal.
4.West Bengal National University of Judicial Sciences,Kolkata.
5.National Law University,Jodhpur.
6.Hidayatullah National Law University,Raipur.
7.Gujarat National Law University,Gandhinagar.
8.RML National Law University,Lucknow.
9.Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law,Punjab.
10.Chanakya National Law University,Patna.
11.National University of Advanced Legal Studies,Kochi.

CLAT exam is conducted of 200 marks consisting of following Subjects:-
1.English Comprehension.
2.Maths.
3.Logocal Reasoning.
4.Current Affairs.
5.Legal Aptitude.

Duration of the exam is 2 hours only,so you need to be very fast and accurate during your exam.
For that,a lot of practice is required and you can get a good rank by securing at least 145.
Best of luck.
Thanks.

With Regards-
Vikas.
