Re: Eligibilty for SNAP exam for OBC candidates?

Hi.

SNAP stands for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test and it selects candidates for the post graduate programs in the Symbiosis International University.

The eligibility as quoted in the SNAP website is :

Graduates in any discipline from statutory University with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) for all the Master of Business Administration Programme, except for the Programmes which requires graduate with specific subject specializations. These specializations are mentioned on the respective institute's website.

For anymore details please visit http://snaptest.org/#

But since you being an OBC, 50% would be applicable for your eligibility, which you do not have. So I feel that SNAP wouldn't be your cup of tea.

Keep looking for other courses, in different colleges all over India.

All the best.

Re: Eligibilty for SNAP exam for OBC candidates?

hi dear friend
There are many private colleges that could allow you free admission or admission on the basis of management quota.
But that would be a lazy option.
If you are really ready for MBA course then you should be intelligent enough to score 85 percentile in CAT.
I would suggest you to first try for CAT. Check your performance in CAT first. Even if you get 40-50 percent marks your percentile would be above 90 percentile. Practice well with the model sets.
Even if you get 80 percentile, the college which you'll get at this score will be much much better than a college by direct admission.
Apart from CAT you should also try in MAT, SNAP and XAT examination.
Good Luck..
thank you
