BHEL will conduct exams for Graduate Engineering Trainees every year they will publish the details on their site and the news papers. min of 60% aggregate for UR catogeries The exam which is conducted by Bhel you can apply that exam. BY which you can get job, eligibilty of this job is you have above 60% marks in your degree in case of general, for more details you can see BHEL official site. |

There are many options and opportunities in govt sectors so many careers for mechanical engineers like ISRO,DRDO,NTPC,GAIL,SAIL,ECIL,POWER GRID,APGENCO,VEDANTA,JINDAL,MITTAL,TATA Group,Defence etc. all r good careers for mechanical engineers.If you are financially sound, better u opt for Masters in Abroad after completing your B.Tech Mechanical.For doing so, you should appear and get a good score in GRE and TOEFL.You can apply in the websites of foreign universities. Re: How to get a job in BHEL after completing B.Tech Mechanical? Bhel Needs Engneers in mechanical branch, We can apply for the Jobs in Bhel By satisfying the following criteria........ Education Criteria: Full time BE or B.Tech Degree in Mechanical, Civil,Electrical & Electronics,Chemical discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate for general / OBC candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates. (Excluding the sessional marks) The pattern of BHEL placement paper for mechanical engineering is given below. There are 240 questions in the paper. Out of 240 120 are Technical and other 120 are Aptitude & General English questions. There is a negative marking of 1/5th mark for each wrong answer. Five options are given for each question of which only one is correct. The questions are very simple in Aptitude section and can be answered well if practiced well. Time management is an important factor as you have to answer 240 questions in 150 minutes. |

Otherwise you must apply at their website. Regular advertisements are provided by BHEL,NTPC,IOCL and other core companies in the top newspapers such as "JOBS Telegraph".In this time of reccession there has been a tendency for students to shift to the core engineering sector and if you hav the basic knowledges in place it shouldnt be difficult for you to get a job in these core companies as they are looking for people with skill and sound technical knowwledge. avg pay-7 lacs pa if selected from campussing otherwise might be a little less keep trying and best of luck Babai |

BHEL has its exam in the month of november and it will again advertise for its exam in the newspaper as well as on its website so keep checking its website. |
