Re: Is there any separate test for admission in DCE? Dear friends There is no other/separate test conducted by the University for Admission in B.Tech programs. Admissions to B.Tech courses in Delhi Technological University formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) are done on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). For your reference i would like to inform you that 85% of the seats offered at DTU for the B.E. program are reserved for the Delhi region candidates passing from Schools / Colleges / Institute located within the NCT of Delhi. The remaining 15% seats are accounted for by the students from the Outside Delhi region. In the year of 2010-2011 DCE conducted the exam of DCE CCE exam for get admission in DCE.......... After 2011 DCE Admissions through AIEEE scores because of prefer to the national students........but Delhi student 85% reservation and other 15% reservation.... Finally DCE not conducted any exam for admissions............. |

Re: Is there any separate test for admission in DCE? There is a test called CEE. CEE (Combined Entrance Examination) is the one of the well reputed entrance exam for engineering stream in India held by the University of Delhi for the admission of Under Graduate Bachelor of Engineering programmes for Delhi Region candidates at Delhi College of Engineering . The students from India as well as foreign students passing from schools / colleges / institutions of National capital territory are eligible to appear for this entrance exam. Not only students of Indian origin but from all over the world are swarming to get admission into the courses it offers. All the best. |

DCE now DTU takes students through AIEEE rank which will be JEE mains rank from 2013 on wards. If seats are still left then they conduct entrance test of their own which actually is held every year after AIEEE exam and counselling. If you belong to a place other than delhi then your chances of admission in that exam will be very less as only 15% seats are for students from outside delhi. So, try to qualify JEE mains with good rank to get admission in DTU. All the best! |

In the year of 2010-2011 DCE conducted the exam of DCE CCE exam for get admission in DCE.......... Re: Is there any separate test for admission in DCE? From the year 2013 onwards the admission to DTU will not be done through either its separate examination or AIEEE. AIEEE has to be shut down from 2013 onward. JEE Main, a new entrance exam will be replacing AIEEE and its score will be used by all IITs, NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded instotutions for their admission process. The admission to DTU too shall be through this entrance exam (JEE Main). 60% weightage shall be given to JEE Main score and 40% weightage shall be given to 12th board marks for determining rank. Is there any separate test for admission in DCE? is there any separate test for admission in dce or it is only on basis of aieee rank ?if there is separate test then when it will be conducted? |
