your daughter will be charged fees as nri or foreigners status since she is an oci. she is ineligible to wirite competitive exams for aiims. though she may forward an application for aiims through the ministry of external affairs. there are 5 seats in aiims for foreign students but you will have to apply through mea.

Re: Entry regulations for nri students in medical colleges?

Dear,
Hi,
You have'nt mentioned for which type of medical degree you want to persue from sndhra pradesh or for which type of entrance you want to appear for.

However, There is nothing different except the course fees and reservation.

For NRI's the course fees for entrance exam and semester fees will also be remain in dollar's and there is also certain reservations in each institute of Andhra pradesh for NRI's students.

Thanks.
All the best.

Re: Entry regulations for nri students in medical colleges?

Dr B R Ambedkar Medical college got late recognition with this they got 100 seats. Out of which 40 seats gone to CET ( Karnataka) and 60 seats to be filled in order 40 seats higher payment 3.25 laks through commed K and remaiing 20 seats management quota. However college did not bother to get 40 seat merit by higher payment merit quota and all 60 seats put in management quota. This is againest MCI rule. This is rectified immediately. Other wise it is unjustice to student community

Re: Entry regulations for nri students in medical colleges?

dear friends, its totally depend upon the cooleges and universities, in which you have to take admission and the particular course..........i think the fee is very high for nri students, the fees of nri students are collected by colleges in the term of dollar.

so my friend, the fees are different for different colleges..................

Re: Entry regulations for nri students in medical colleges?

it all depends on the college you are taking admission in and the course you are applying for,
like in andhra pradesh the initial donation fee for an nri student is 25 lakhs,in average private colleges,
then after that the curriculum and every thing is the same there is no difference
