Re: General English preparation tips for IBPS exam? Books to be referred? HELLO SIR..... I think you refer to book written by Wren and Martin. The book contains all types of questions from simple to complex types. Other than this books by R.S Agarwal and Hari Prasad also will be useful in the preparation. To improve your English you must take up vast reading like editorial pages in newspaper. Learn a few new vocabulary daily. GOOD LUCK !!!!!!! |

Sections of the exam - There are 5 sections - Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning Genearal Awreness Computer Knowledge English English has both objective and subjective questions. You should prepare these topics in English - 1.Vocabulary Test 2.Synonyms 3.Antonyms 4.Idioms & Phrases 5.Fill in the blank 6.Spot the errors 7. One word substitution For subjectiveenglish questions , prepare - Precis Letter Essay writing Practice model papers in a time frame. I have attched few sample papers for your practice - |
