dear friend,

According to the IIT JEE authority rules you can not wright any thing on your recent Black & White Passport size photograph. If you do this you application form may be canceled. So, friend don't do this.and keep 5 copies of same photograph for the time of admission.

Re: Is Attested Photo required for IIT JEE application form?

Dear pal,
the various forms which are required while applying for the iit jee exam are
1. The passport size photo. Photo taken latestly is preferable. The photo need to be taken with contrast background . Make sure that your face occupies three fourth of it
2. The attested 10th standard mark sheet
3. The community certificate need to be obtained with attestation.
4. A letter need to be attached if a question paper which matches the requirement for visually impaired is required. The format of the letter can be downloaded from the website
there is on need for attestation in the photo. But make sure that you have attached them properly with good adhesive. Before posting the application make sure that you have filled all the details and attached everything that is required

Is Attested Photo required for IIT JEE application form?

No .There is no need to Attested your photograph for IIT-JEE 2012 .The following lines in IIT-JEE 2012 Information bronchure confirms it:

your recent colour photograph should be taken with a white background, preferably wearing dark-coloured
clothes.the approximate size of the photograph should be 3.5 cm * 4.5 cm(taken not earlier than two months).
your face should cover about 75% of the photo. Please write your name and application number on the reverse
side of the photograph. This will help matching your photograph with your application form in case it gets detached
from the form during processing.Paste the photograph(use good quality gum, not glue stick or stapler) in the box provided
.
DO NOT SIGN OR WRITE ANYTHING ON THE FRONT SIDE OF YOUR PHOTOGRAPH AND ALSO DON NOT GET IT ATTESTED. keep four more copies of
the same photograph with you for future use.

Please read out the whole instruction before filling up your application form.

With Regards
