## Full form of CAT is Common Admission Test and this exam is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management. With CAT Scores you can not only pursue MBA in the IIM's but also in the other top B-Schools which accepts CAT Scores. ## The weightage that is given to CAT varies from one institution to the other. Some colleges even gives preference to the marks you have secured at graduation level, your academic background and the work experience (if any). ## You need to get a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. At graduation level you need to have 50% of marks in aggregate. ## There is some relaxation available for the reserved category candidates. In case you are a SC/ST/DA/PWD candidate then you need to get 45% of marks in aggregate. ## Final year candidates who are about to appear for the final exam or waiting for the results to come out can also give this exam. They will be given provisional admission in that case. Cat is a tough and competitive exam.there are two section 1.Quantitative aptitude and data interpretation(20 question+10) for aptitude u can solve arun sharma (TMH publication) and for data intepretation TMH publication....it's really beneficial for u 2.Verbal ability and logical reasoning for verbal ability 10 question is from reading comprehension..so u should read high quality novel regularly...and for grammer wren and martin are very useful for vocabulary u should work with word power made easy(norman lewis) and for reasoning TMH or arihant reasonong book NOTE--u should solve previous year paper..(arihant publication) wiil be very useful for u |
