Re: Can I register directly for IPCC after the completion of B.Com? Hello friend, CA has three main stages to clear which are as follows - 1. CA CPT 2. CA IPCC 3. CA FINAL CA CPT is a exam which can be given after 10+2 appearing or passed. It directly makes you eligible for IPCC. CA IPCC - If you are a graduate and your marks are 55%+ in Commerce or 60%+ in other subject then also you are eligible for IPCC bypassing CPT. Hope it will help you. All the best |

Commerce graduates must have 55% marks and Non commerce graduates 60% marks. If you have required percentage of marks you can directly register for IPCC ie you can skip CPT exam. |

This relaxation was introduced by the ICAI not just for commerce graduates but non commerce graduates as well. Under the new rules, you can skip Common Proficiency Test. But this is only possible if you manages to clear B.Com with 55 percent marks. While non-commerce graduates should have scored 60 percent marks in their respective degree. If you fail to meet the percentage requirement then you will have to appear for the Common Proficiency Test. IPCC There are two groups in the IPCC. Group 1 1. Accounting 2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication 3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management 4. Taxation Group 2 5. Advanced Accounting 6. Auditing and Assurance 7. Information Technology and Strategic Management Final Course After clearing IPCC you will have to pursue Final course to complete the Chartered Accountancy course. Group 1 1. Financial Reporting 2. Strategic Financial Management 3. Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics 4. Corporate and Allied Laws Group 2 5. Advanced Management Accounting 6. Information System control and Audit 7. Direct Tax Laws 8. indirect tax Laws |
