Eligibility criteria to apply for different posts of RTO are as under :-

RTO Clerk :

-The candidate should have passed 12th class in any discipline from a recognized central or state board.

-The age limit to apply for the post should be in between 18 years to 37 years.

RTO Sub Assistant Engineer :

- The candidate must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical ).

-The age limit to apply for the post is from 23 years to 32 years.

RTO Judicial service :

- The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.

-The age limit to apply for the post should be in between 23 years to 34 years.

mother tong .. if this all conditions are in you then you apply for R.T.O officer...

HI.....

RTO examinations are generally conducted by public service commission of each state of India. Well as you have not mention which states you are from so its little difficult to tell you in the details .But i will still try to help you out by giving you the general idea about the exams .

The RTO examination is done for three post ::

1.Judicial service post
2.clerkship post
3.sub assistant engineer

The eligibility criteria for all the post is different .

Eligibility criteria:

you must posses the following qualification to become an RTO Officer :-

Educational Qualification :- A degree in law.

Age limit: 23-34yrs.

2.For clerkship post:

RTO- Regional Transport Officer Exam is conducted by Public Service Commission.

In RTO officer there are different types of posts like Clerk post,Judicial Post,Assistant engineer Post.In Andhra Pradesh, The exam is conducted in the month of June-July.

Eligibility Criteria:

**Candidate must have a pass in 10th/matriculation.

**for Judicial Service post Your age should be between 23 year to 34 years.

**for Clerkship post Your age should be between 18 years to 37 year old.

**for Sub Assistant engineer Your age should be not more then 32 years .

Syllabus:

1. General Studies.
2. English Language.
3. Optional Subjects.
*Mechanical Engineering.
*Computer Science

Selection process:

RTO exam sub assistant engineer eligibility

Candidates should be the citizen of India.

Candidates should not be more than 34 years.

Candidates should complete graduation from a recognized university in particular fields such as mechanical,civil,automobile,electrical etc...

The exam for RTO is conducted by State Public Service Commissions separately for each State.You can apply for all the states but you should have the knowledge of the local language of the state and should know to read,write and speak in that language..

hi,u didn't mention from which state you are so i suggest u to do like this:

This examination is held by the PSC's of individual states.So you need to see the web sites of the PSC of the state where you want to sit for the examination.

As per my knowledge RTO officers selection is done by state public service commissio.So first of all you have to appear in Public service commission exam.And for this category a min qualification of Graduate in any streams is required.
