Hello Friend, It is a big doubt in many of the student's minds that how to prepare for the boards as well as the entrance exams at the same time. It comes in mind due to lack of PLANNING. If you Plan your schedule effectively for studying than you won;t panic at all. The thing is that there is no big difference b/w the board exams as well as the entrance exams. The only difference is that the board exams will be theoretical and the Entrance exams will be Objective type. But there is no difference in the study or syllabus of the both. Whether you prepare for the boards or for the entrance exams, you should be good and sound at the concepts that you study. Apart from that the entrance exams need more practice of the Objective type questions. But i will recommend that whatever you study, study it thoroughly so that you will be able to do it in the boards as well as in the entrance exams. And Be Confident also. If you plan your schedule accordingly than this question will never come into your mind again. Thanks and Best of Luck with your Studies and Future. |

The syllabus for entrance exams like IIT-JEE and AIEEE etc and all board are all same. The difference between those entrance exam and board exam is that the questions in board comes more on theory and less on concept. But, the questions in entrance exams comes more on concept and less on theory. If you work hard on your basics and conceptual approach then you will be able to solve the problems easily and also it will take less time to cover all the theoretical and derivation part. So, the main advice is that whatever topic you read, read it completely according to your syllabus. I think you haven't worked out on your basics and so your afraid from appearing in both entrance exams and board. Thankyou Aishwarya Mehrotra |

Re: How to prepare for Boards as well as entrance exams simultaneously? you need not to prepare seperately for boards and entrance exams. you can prepare for them simultaniously. your board and entrance exams syllabus will ba same so dont focus on anyone exam you just focus on the concepts.for this you need to have strong knowledge on basics. if you have good knowledge on basics then you can easily understand the concepts. once you understand the concepts then you can easily understand the theoretical things for your board exams and you can apply these conceptual knowledge while giving any entrance exam. so focus on the concepts but not on the exams. good luck. |

So it becomes easier to prepare for both as the course is almost 99% same. To prepare for both 12th board exam & Entrance, join any Foundation Course during 12th, which will help u for both the exams. After completion of 12th Exam's Join Crash Course. Crash Course is nothing, but it wud revise You, what u studied in 11th class. So now, you know about 11th class Course, & also about 12th class course, as u given 12th exam recently. So u can score better in Entrance Exam as well as in Board Exams. Gud luck, have a bright future... |

Also give time to the entrance preparations,but you have to be equally honest to both. As the board exams are near,you should prepare for the board exams at these days. Practice a lot for the entrance tests as well,from the model test papers. But you should score well in the board exam at any cost as your future will be built on its basis. Good luck!! |

It is very difficult to manage both that is Board preparation and competition preparation at a time. i will advice you to prepare for your board because it is more important as entrance exams require certain marks criteria in board. so preparing for board also means you are completing class 12th syllabus .and after board try to complete class 11th syllabus. |

Firstly as you are in class 12th ,you must concentrate in class 12th , but competition are also there then you have clear your all the concepts of the textbook. This will be as much as you have covered half syllabue for any entrance exam. Regular study, solving papers eould really help you. ALL THE BEST........ |
