Hello friend... *Government of India consists of three indian services -->Indian Administrative Service(IAS) -->Indian Foreign Service(IFS) -->Indian Police Service(IPS). UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination selection of IPS officers. Stages in examination --> Preliminary Examination -->Main Examination -->Interview Exam pattern *The examination paper consists of two papers -->Paper I( General Studies) -->Paper II (Optional Subject). *paper II is optional subject i.e you can select any subject from -->Statistics -->Public Administration -->Political Science -->Physics -->Mechanical Engineering -->Law -->Mathematics -->Commerce etc Structure of main exam -->Paper I -- One Indian language (Marks-300) -->Paper II – English. (Marks-300) -->Paper III – Essay.(Marks-200) -->Paper IV&V - General Studies.(Marks-300) -->Paper VI-IX - you can select 2 optional subjects.(2-papers-- Marks-300) Eligible age --> For General category==>21 year to 30 years -->For SC/ST==>relaxation up to 5 years. -->For OBC==>relaxation up to 3 years. *There is huge competition for the selection,The selection process will be very tough you should have good practice 3-4 months. *You can solve previous exam paper for best practice.Prepare well good luck all the best |

Re: Is there any government job available after passing B.Com? Any jobs in railway sector? You are eligible for applying for jobs in Railways after completing B.Com. You should attend the RRB exam for that. This exam is conducted by UPSC. If you emerge successful in this exam you need to attend the interview. Some of the job positions which you can get in to after completing graduation are – Section officer, accounting officer, clerk, entry level officer etc. |
