I m extremely sorry to say that you are not eligible for LLB beacuse of two reasons , the primary reason is you dont have enough percentage to do LLB and the secondary reason is age factor .Your age goes beyong eligibility criteria for LLB..

GOOD LUCK

I am afraid that you are not eligible for the LLB course. Unfortunately the OBC candidates are not given relaxation by majority of colleges for LLB admission. While colleges like DU does give relaxation but still you will need 45 percent marks which is more than what you have got in graduation.

Another big issue is your age. While SC/ST can take admission till 35 years, the limit for OBC is same as the General student which is 30 years. This also rules out the possibility of doing LLB course.

I will not recommend doing LLB from correspondence since Bar Council of India will not recognize it. My simple advice to you would be to consider some other career option.

LLB Eligibility

1. There is a need of graduation course.

2. 45-50 percent marks in graduation.

3. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST.

4. The upper age limit is 30 years to apply.

5. It is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST.

I think you should do post graduation. After post graduation you will have several opportunities of getting job. Although in government sector you can only apply for lectureship by clearing the National Eligibility Test.

You will have to complete post graduation with 55 percent marks to apply for National Eligibility Test. Other option would be Bachelor of Education course. After B.Ed you can become school teacher.

Re: How can I join law course after graduation with 43% marks?

Graduation is necessary to apply for LLB course. But the percentage of marks required to pursue LLB course is 50%. In case of reserved category, the percentage of marks required is 45%. So, you are not eligible for LLB course after degree with 43.5 % marks. Apart from this, Bar Council of India has specified certain age limit for LLB course. Incase of a 3 year LLB course the maximum age limit is 30 years.
