Re: Date of release of IPS application form? What is the qualification required? Sir, IPS (Indian Police Service) the exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. ELIGIBITY CRITERIA : * The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university. * Final year candidates are also eligible. * Age limits is 21 years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. * Candidate should be a citizen of india. Eligibility For IPS : ~~ You have to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University. ~~ Your age should between 21 to 30 years ~~ Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates ~~ Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this examination If you have fulfill these Requirements then you are eligible to appeared for UPSC Civil services examination to become IPS Officer. But the last date of apply for this year Preliminary examination was already Over. So if you have not applied for this examination this time, then you have to wait for the Next examination Notification. The Notification will be Published in the month of February and eligible candidates may fill the application form online Only. This year Civil services Preliminary examination is going to be held soon on 20/May/2012. In this examination candidates will get certain Limits to cracked this examination, If you will failed to cracked this examination in these given limits then you cant apply for this examination again. So, please prepared well and then apply for this examination. Number of Attempts : ~~ For General candidates : 4 Attempts ~~ For OBC Candidates : 7 Attempts ~~ For SC/ST : No Limits If you want to know more about this examination, then please visit the official website of UPSC. |
