Re: Required Eligibility criteria to study MCA course? You did not mention your highest level of academic qualification. If you had mentioned that, we would have better suggested you that whether you are eligible to join MCA course or not. However, have a glance over the eligibility criteria for MCA course. Candidate should have completed Graduation with any of the stream with a minimum of 50% of marks. Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation also can apply for the Entrance Exam to join MCA course. It is must that you should have Mathematics as compulsory subject either at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. With regard to Entrance Exam, Different universities will conduct different Entrance Exams in order to give admission for this course. However, you have to get through NIMCET Exam in order to get admission for this course in NITs. You did not mention the specific location where you would like to get admission. Know the top universities offering this course in and around you and know the selection procedure to get admission in those colleges. Have good preparation for the selection procedure and crack it to get admission. Gain good subject knowledge especially programming skills without which it is difficult for you to get the job. Eligibility Criteria: You should have Indian citizenship. You should complete the Graduation from recognized university to do the MCA. Candidate should have min 50% of marks for this exam. You should have the Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects compulsory in 12th standard to do the MCA. All the best.............. |
