Yes, you are eligible for B.Ed course and also for the government job.
If you have completed your BA ( Bachelor in Art) course correspondance, then you are eligible for the government job.
There are lots of jobs after completing BA. You can also apply for the B.ED courses.
After completing your graduation, you can apply for the CDS exams and many bank jobs etc.

If you have another query, feel free to ask on EALP.
Thank you

hi................

You can also go for TGT program. It's the best way to get the experience of teaching before you start your career as a teacher. TGT is one of the certification course to train the graduates to make them eligible to get teaching jobs. Here, TGT stands for "Trained Graduate Teacher". This course is conducted by many states in India like Haryana, UP, Punjab, Tamil Nadu etc.

Courses and Eligibility:
Pre-primary teachers training: This is an early childhood education programme. It is of one year for those who have completed 10/12th. After completing this one can take up a job in pre-primary section of a school.

D.ED: Two years education program for which 10+2 pass are eligible. After completing this course, one can take a teacher’s job in primary school.

B.ED: One year teacher education programme for which graduates and post graduate are eligible. After completing the course one can take up a teacher's job in secondary schools and Junior colleges in case they have completed their post graduation.

M.ED: This is a one or two year course depending on the respective University for which graduates and post graduates are eligible. After completing this course one can take up a teacher’s job in college.

Below is a list of colleges that offer specialized teacher training courses:

With this qualification, you may be more interested in academic area jobs. TGT posts in government schools can be applied with this qualification. But for this, you need to qualify CTET exam along with a B.Ed. 50% marks in B.Ed is required for CTET. If you are able to clear CTET you can apply for TGT posts in central schools like KVS, NVS etc. One can write UPSC/SSC exams so as to get in to jobs in other government sectors.
