Re: Is it possible to do LLB through correspondence from UP?

Dear There,

Bachelor Of Law.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Pass in any Graduation Degree from any recognized college/university with a minimum of 45% marks.

Age must be in between : 21 - 30 years

A relaxation in 5% marks and 5 years in upper age limit for the candidates of reserved quotas.

Now according to your quest you can not pursue LLB course from correspondence.

Thanks

Re: Is it possible to do LLB through correspondence from UP?

Well you can not pursue LLB unless you have completed graduation. Therefore before thinking for LLB you will need to complete graduation. Secondly the age limit to apply for LLB is 30 years for General/OBC candidates and 35 for SC/ST.

Make sure that you apply for LLB within the age limit. Now coming to correspondence course point, you can't do LLB through correspondence in Uttar Pradesh or any other part of the country.

LLB is not currently offered through correspondence, so that not is possible. The law course offered through correspondence are not valid as per Bar Council of India. Which means that while you may pursue them, but Bar Council of India would not allow you to practice in any Indian Court.

The only option for you is LLB that too via regular mode. Now it is up to you to decide. But please remember that LLB can be pursued only if you have completed graduation degree as well.

Eligibility

1. Candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline.

2. Minimum of 45 percent marks are required.

3. SC/ST candidates need 40 percent marks.

4. The age limit is 30 years for LLB.

5. SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation.
