Hi friend.............

Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Exam is conducted by Public Service Commission.

The RTO examination is done for three post ::

clerkship post

Judicial service post

sub assistant engineer

Clerkship Post Eligibility:

Candidate should be a citizen of India.

Candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board .

Candidate should be between 18 years to 37 year old.

Judicial Service post Eligibility criteria:

Candidate should be Indian citizen

Candidate should be between 23 year to 34 years.

Candidate should have degree in law from recognized university

Candidate should be able to read, write and speak particular state’s language.

Sub Assistant Engineer Eligibility:


Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

The interested students should have got a 4 year degree in engineering in any one of these Streams Civil,Mechanical,Electrical.

Candidate should be not more then 32 years .

Preparation Topics for exam:

General Studies.

English Language.

Optional Subjects.

You can give the RTO exam for the following posts:-

>Clerical Post

>Sub Assistant Engineer

>Judicial Post

Eligibility Criteria for the Clerical Post:-

>You should be a minimum class 12 pass out
>Your age should be between 18-37 years.

Eligibility Criteria for the Sub Engineer Post:-

>You should have a four year engineering degree
>Your age should not be more than 37 years.

Eligibility Criteria for the Judicial Post:-

>You should have a degree in law from a recognized university.
>Your minimum age should be 23.

Exam Pattern of the RTO Exam:-

>General Studies
>English Language
>General Studies I
>General Studies II

you can apply for the RTO clerical post. You should be between 18-37 years to apply for this post. You can apply via online by logging in to the official website of the respective state transport department. You should also be proficient in the local language of the state from which you are applying for the exam.

After completing diploma in mechanical engineering, you can apply for the RTO clerical post. You should be between 18-37 years to apply for this post. You can apply via online by logging in to the official website of the respective state transport department. You should also be proficient in the local language of the state from which you are applying for the exam. Syllabus of RTO exam will include – General Studies- I, General Studies –II, Optional subjects etc.
