NET is conducted TWICE in a year by UGC. - On June and - On December Eligibility for NET:: ->You must have PG with min.55% AGE LIMITS:: There are 2types of Posts in NET:- 1)Lectureship post(LS) 2)Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) -->There is no upper age limit for "Lectureship post" -->You must be within 28years for "Junior Research Fellowship"(5years age relaxation for SC/ST,BC and PH Candidates) -->If you are in Final year of your PG also eligible to write NET. NET - National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC(University Grant Commission) for selection of Lectureship and award to Junior Research Fellowship(JRF). There is no upper age limit for those applying for Lectureship but those applying for JRF should be within the age of 19 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Post Graduation Degree with 55% marks in any stream from a recognised University. Eligibility : * Candidate must have completed masters degree from recognized university with : For general and OBC candidate : 55% above marks For SC/ST candidate : 50% above marks Age Limit For JRF Post:- For JRF post, your age should be 19 to 28 years old. This test conduct for lectureship , PHD and JRF . From this year NET exam is fully objective based . Eligibility Criteria : Candidate must complete Master Degree from Recognized university. For general and OBC candidate must have 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree. Age is not specified by the UGC.  The Acronym "NET" stands for National eligibility Test. This Exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission every year in the months of june and december respectively . * The Age Limit For The post of JRF is : 21-28 years. * There is no age limit for the post of Lecturership. Educational Qualification Needed : You must have completed your post graduation from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. There is also a relaxation of 5 % marks for those belonging to Reserved Categories. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

Eligibility:- Post graduation in any subject with 55% from any recognised university. Age should be maximum 28 year(relaxation for reserve category) There is no upper age limit for lecturership. |
