Both of these courses have great aspects in the pharmacy sector.These two are separate disciplines in pharmacy. Among these two,i think pharmaceutics will be better option for you. This part of pharmacy deals with the preparation of different drugs and their subsequent analysis. There are many research and projects are going through out the world in the pharmaceutics field as this plays a vital role in drug development and studies associated with it.Pharmacology is also a good career with half relation with pharmacy and has better connection with pharmacy related sciences. |

Which field is better for jobs and has high salaries? hiiii.... we cannot compare those two subjects as both of them are having their own significance in their field. if your specialisation is pharmaceutics you can get job opportunities in almost all fields in pharmaceutical industry like production, regulatory affairs .. if your specialisation is in pharmacology , you can get jobs in recently developing fields like clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, research and development etc.. thank you |

hi dear, after completing MD pharmacology, Md pharmacology has got an excellent scope nowadays. You will be rightaway taken up in any pharmaceutical company!the payscales are very good, but initially, you may have to travel a lot.their work is to supervise the several clinical trials, which are being done in various institutions, as well as to do the phase 1 & 2 trials in the company's laboratory. our government rightly insists that all clinical trials have to be initially done on indian patients & have to be 1st passed by the drug controller general of india(dgci), before a new drug can be marketed within india. of course dear, there is a difference between - M.PHARM AND MD PHARMACOLOGY. generally m.pharm pharmacology is experimental pharmacology, which is studied by a pharmacist, and md pharmacology is clinical pharmacology. which is studied by a doctor.
